The following boards are charged with directing and overseeing the daily work of the church.
Boards
Cabinet
The Cabinet is the governing body of the church, with representatives from each of the standing boards, two at-large members, the church Moderator, Clerk, and Treasurer.
MEETINGS: The Cabinet meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7 PM.
Board of Christian Education
The Board of Christian Education (CE) is responsible for providing nursery, Sunday School, Confirmation, and youth ministry activities.
MEETINGS: The CE Board meets on the first Monday of each month at 7 PM.
Board of Deacons
The Deacons are responsible for all aspects of our worship service, including greeters, ushers, order of worship, music, and communion.
MEETINGS: The Deacons meet once each month.
Board of Finance
The Board of Finance is responsible for establishing the financial policies and monitoring the financial health of the church. Its members include the Treasurer, Financial Secretary, and several at-large members appointed by the Cabinet.
MEETINGS: Finance meetings are convened as needed by the Treasurer.
Board of Outreach
The Board of Outreach coordinates our ministry to the wider community. Pledges collected for outreach are distributed to local organizations and UCC-sponsored charities. Special collections are made for disaster relief and other needs throughout the year.
MEETINGS: Outreach meetings are held once each month.
Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees oversees the physical stewardship of our meetinghouse and parsonage.
MEETINGS: The Trustees meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 PM.
